  • Remove the risk. Using your own Internet Banking is safe and convenient.
  • You can use the "Payment for Reconnection" option if your services are suspended for non payment. We will then reconnect you within 4 hours of you releasing the payment.
  • Pay your account where and when it is easiest for you.
  • Retrieve your latest statement directly from your Internet Banking profile when they become available from us.
  • Your e-Tshwane profile is immediately updated with all payment information.
  • Your last 5 payments are available for viewing within MyBills and for a minimum of 2 years within e-Tshwane.

Add Tshwane to your MyBills profile

Follow the steps below to add your account:

  1. Log onto Internet Banking.
  2. Select Payments.
  3. Select MyBills.
  4. Select Add New Biller.
  5. Select Add next to e-Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.
  6. Select Confirm.

Pay your e-Tshwane account

Follow the steps below to pay your account:

  1. Log onto Internet Banking.
  2. Select Payments.
  3. Select MyBills.
  4. Select the e-Tshwane statement to pay.
  5. Complete My reference details and confirm amount.
  6. Select the e-Tshwane statement to pay.

NOTE: Standard Bank only allows you to pay the account associated with your identity or passport number. You may however add more accounts to your profile within e-Tshwane. e-Tshwane then associates these accounts with your identity or passport number to make them available within MyBills.
